BOA

Bored of Authority (BOA) Surf and Skate shop was started up in 1986 in Ottawa Canada in an old house that had been converted into a retail store.. In 1988 the company began designing it's own line of skateboard apparel and in 1989 started designing snowboard wear for that burgeoning new sport. 
By 1991 BOA had stores in Whistler BC as well as Ottawa Ontario.  Distribution of its skateboard clothing was Canada-wide.  In 1992, the company opened a store in Vancouver BC and expanded it's snowboard clothing line with distribution across Canada, in Japan and the West coast of the United States.
The company ceased operations in 1997 but the philosophy and dream always stayed alive.
After resting for 20 years, the original founder of Bored of Authority is launching the brand once again.  Starting with some classic designs from our archives we'll see where they take us.
